Nyons - Veille Ville Firmin House
Nyons- This wonderful provencal traditional house is 15th centruy and is built into the town walls of the unspoiled medieval uarater of Nyons. A lovely cobbled lane leads you up 8 stone steps to the front door. To your left is lovely fresh water fountain with contiuously running water.
This home was actually two houses. They have now been joined and beautifully restored. Nos 14 /16 are located on rue des Petits Forts. A lovely garden awaits you directly across the cobbled way. Rest comfortable in the garden under a grand olive tree.
The home is made up of 3 floors. The main floor has a lovely living room with exposed beams and open fireplace and dinning table with afternoon light. The living area has comfy chairs and couch. Off the living room is a sweet balcony with overlooks rooftops to the hilltops beyond. The eat in kitchen is separate is fully equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave and all the utensils necessary.
The master bedroom has a large double bed with en-suite bathroom with bathtub/showr, WC. The second bedroom conveniently located on the kitchen side of the house has twi beds and small complete bathroom (shower only), no bathtub. Above this room is a restored attic for additional sleeping. Ideal for children as they are comfortable folding beds.
The lower level is entered from the cave area, outside the building. This room is equipped with a small bed and WC and sink. This room is the laundry room but can accommodate another adult on a single bed. This room is decorated in provencal taste and is quiet cool in the summer.
